Return Policy
Your patronage is the key to our success.
For this reason, we offer a variety of hassle-free policies regarding product returns.
Products must be unused and in saleable condition with complete packaging to apply to this policy.
WITHIN 7 DAYS OF PURCHASE + PROOF OF PURCHASE
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, bring it back within 14 days with the original proof of purchase, and we will offer you a refund, an exchange or an in-store credit equivalent to the purchase price.
AFTER 7 DAYS OF PURCHASE + PROOF OF PURCHASE
For items returned with a receipt after 7 days from date of purchase, you will be offered an exchange, or an in-store credit for the purchase price.
WITHOUT PROOF OF PURCHASE
If you do not have the proof of purchase for an item you would like to return, we will issue you an in-store credit for the price of the item on the day you return it.
SEASONAL CLEARANCE AND SALE ITEMS
Items purchased on sale for end of season clearance may be returned for an exchange or an in-store credit only. Clearance items discounted by 50% or more are final sale.
The Following items are not returnable or do not apply to the above policy for hygienic, safety and other reasons. Underwear, Sunglasses, Climbing Gear, Maps, opened software and GPS.
Online Customers
Online Customers please call or email sales@muskokaoutfitters.com within 7 days if there is a problem with your purchase.
You will receive a return authorization number (RA#) which must be written on your package for return (Packages will not be accepted without a clear RA#).
All returns must be returned in original packaging within 7 days at the customers expense.
If we have made an error in your order we will request a call tag and a delivery company will pick up your order for return at our expense.
Orders returned which qualified for free shipping will be charged a service fee for the original shipping on return.
We will do our best to fix or replace your order as quickly as possible.
Warranty Policy
We take pride in our quality products and service.If you have a problem with any of your purchases, please feel free to talk to our staff. Our suppliers have different warranty policies but here are some general guidelines:
- Most warranties cover "manufacturer's defects, meaning that if there was something wrong in the construction of the product they will fix or replace it. However, if it appears that the product status resulted from regular wear and tear, most companies will not cover it. The decision whether to fix, replace, credit or return an item belongs to the manufacturer.
- If a credit is issued, the customer will have a Muskoka Outfitters credit for the price of the item.
- Some supplier warranties can take up to six weeks to get back to the store. As a result, we recommend that if the product can still be used and is needed for a particular time period, it's best to hold on to it and send it back at a more convenient time.
- If the item is not under warranty, the customer may be charged a repair fee. If the item is not under warranty and not repairable, some companies offer a new item at a discounted price.
- Shipping fees are applicable even if the item is under warranty
