Paddlesports
Muskoka Outfitters offers one of the largest selections of canoe and kayak models and accessories in Ontario, all with on-site test paddling and instruction. Everyday is a demo day at our location from early Spring to late Fall. With so many differences in hull designs and intended uses the best way to choose is to spend some time to get to know a few and you will find the right canoe, kayak, PFD and paddle for you. Our staff are avid paddlers and are always happy to help you out and give you free tips to make your paddling trial the most useful in making an informed choice. This includes testing paddles and the fit of a vest. For canoeists we also have weighted packs on-location for you to use in your trial. Special Orders
Looking for something that we don't have in our store? We'll do our best to get it for you as quickly as we can. Let our staff know by phone, email, or come in and talk to us in person. If the item is something that we do not usually carry, we kindly ask for a 20% deposit that is refundable if the item is unavailable. If you decide that you don't want it in the end, this deposit is unfortunately non-refundable.

Holds
If we have something that you would like to buy but for whatever reason cannot do so right away, you are welcome to put it on hold. We are more than happy to keep items on hold for a week without a deposit. We cannot, however, do holds on items that are on sale.

Layaways
Need more time? With a 20% deposit we will put an item on layaway for up to 2 weeks. If you should decide against the purchase, this deposit is non-refundable and will be transferred to an in-store credit.

• We offer free test paddling at all of our on-water boat locations and will spend all the time you need to find you the right boat. Our staff are experienced paddlers who will offer you the best advice and tips on boat testing.
• For 30 days after your purchase of a new boat, should you find the same model for less anywhere else in Ontario - We will match it.
• If you find the boat just doesn't work for you, just return it for an exchange on any other model or request a refund (depending on condition).
• 5% off boat purchases of two or more (new or used) on the same day

We spend our free time in the outdoors testing products from different suppliers to ensure that everything we carry meets our standards of performance and quality. We stand behind everything we carry as well as the advice we provide. If you find any product we carry to not meet your expectations you may return the item for a replacement, exchange or credit.

Warranty Guarantee
We take pride in our quality products and service.If you have a problem with any of your purchases, please feel free to talk to our staff. Our suppliers have different warranty policies but here are some general guidelines:

• Most warranties cover "manufacturer's defects, meaning that if there was something wrong in the construction of the product they will fix or replace it. However, if it appears that the product status resulted from regular wear and tear, most companies will not cover it. The decision whether to fix, replace, credit or return an item belongs to the manufacturer.
• If a credit is issued, the customer will have a Muskoka Outfitters credit for the price of the item.
• Some supplier warranties can take up to six weeks to get back to the store. As a result, we recommend that if the product can still be used and is needed for a particular time period, it's best to hold on to it and send it back at a more convenient time.
• If the item is not under warranty, the customer may be charged a repair fee. If the item is not under warranty and not repairable, some companies offer a new item at a discounted price.
• Shipping fees are applicable even if the item is under warranty

Return Policy
Your patronage is the key to our success. For this reason, we offer a variety of hassle-free policies regarding product returns. Products must be unused and in saleable condition with complete packaging to apply to this policy.

WITH Proof of Purchase
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, bring it back within 14 days with the original proof of purchase, and we will offer you a refund, an exchange or an in-store credit equivalent to the purchase price. For items returned with a receipt after 7 days from date of purchase, you will be offered an exchange, or an in-store credit for the purchase price.

WITHOUT Proof of Purchase
If you do not have the proof of purchase for an item you would like to return, we will issue you an in-store credit for the price of the item on the day you return it.

Seasonal & Clearance Items
Items purchased on sale for end of season clearance may be returned for an exchange or an in-store credit only. Clearance items discounted by 50% or more are final sale.

Online Customers
Online Customers please call or email sales@muskokaoutfitters.com within 7 days if there is a problem with your purchase. You will receive a return authorization number (RA#) which must be written on your package for return (Packages will not be accepted without a clear RA#).

All returns must be returned in original packaging within 7 days at the customers expense. If we have made an error in your order we will request a call tag and a delivery company will pick up your order for return at our expense. Orders returned which qualified for free shipping will be charged a service fee for the original shipping on return. We will do our best to fix or replace your order as quickly as possible.

The Following items are not returnable or do not apply to the above policy for hygienic, safety and other reasons:
Underwear, Sunglasses, Climbing Gear, Maps, opened software and GPS.

Equipment Rentals
Our Bracebridge location provides equipment rentals year round for on-site use or to explore other Muskoka wilderness areas. From canoes and camping gear to winter sports and climbing equipment check our online rental listing for complete details.

On-Site Paddling
Located on the Muskoka River we offer one of Muskoka's best paddling trips right from our waterfront. Paddling up the South Muskoka branch offers a secluded 3-4 hour round trip to majestic South Falls, the areas longest vertical waterfall. This area offers a great picnic stop and swimming locations. Other accessible trips include Sharpe's Creek waterfalls, Bracebridge Falls as well as access to Lake Muskoka. If you wish to try paddling and don't have enough experience we offer on-site instruction courses or guides can be hired for your trip.
